    10 Most Wanted!

    10 Most Wanted!

A great and successful commander always knows his enemies weakness and strength before he engaged in a battle with them.

Now as a Muslim to be able to know and identify our enemies will be of an advantage to us to better fight and overcome them.

This is a challenging mission and lets us track our 10 most wanted enemies. Here is the list:

    1. Enemy Number One - Shaitan (Lanatullah alihi):

In al-Qur'an, Allah (swt) has mentioned numerous times that shaitan is our true and real enemy. Even our fore-father Nabi Adam a.s. was not spared by shaitan's wicked and cunning ways.

Please bear in mind that shaitan is working round the clock, all year round irregardless of seasons, day or night and is most experienced having lived for decades. All Muslims must fight this enemy and be wary of its dubious ploy.

Shaitan is with each and every one of us..it is up to us to destroy its influence by being loyal and obedient only to Allah (swt).....Only Allah (swt) is our saviour!

But we must learn to recognise the shaitan just listen to his whispering in your heart for that is the place he loves to reside because he knows that man is constantly trying to seek his lord with the eyes which do not perceive him for he is perfect and these eyes are a mere gift for our own benefit.

It is the Heart which sees Allah and recognises his love and majesty we must purify our hearts and rid shaitan who by staying in the heart as if though the idols are in the mosque.

    2. Enemy Number Two - Our Nafs (inner self):

This is a real tough "guy"...it is difficult to break this nafs as it dwells within us.. When we eat they eat, when we drink they drink but when we are resting they are plotting to destroy us.

Those who succumbs to his own nafs is in a great lost and is most unfortunate. In al-Qur'an, Allah (swt) condemns those who follow his/her nafs without any reservation or thought. Our beloved Rasulullah (s.a.w).recommended fasting as one of the ways to curb our nafs.

The Nafs is what was bestowed by Allah and is therfor the most important thing we have Allah says in the Quran Every Nafs shall taste death and we have also read in Quran and numerous Hadeeth that it is the nafs which will go to heaven and we know much about the spirituality of the Prophets and the great Awliya and the Vallyallahs.

These people stopped and worked on their Nafs which is no easy task by any estimation but non the less the Prophet and the imams have prescribed many remedies for the Diseases of the Nafs its just a matter of man becoming awoken from his Ignorance and realizing he can cure his many problems.

Stress, worry, sadness, lonliness, aimlesness, selfpity, depression, and the list goes on these are all problems of the Nafs but people dont realise the cause is sin and not being loyal to Allah hence the heavenly nafs is made to go against its Nature and therfore when something is abused or used in a manner not appropriate for it it just begins to decay or break or seize to function or go berzerk all of this pleases Shaitan, man enjoys it whilst it lasts but.??

    3. Enemy Number Three - Our Hearts:

The heart plays the all important role in our well being, be it physically and/or mentally. Our beloved Rasulullah s.a.w. mentioned that there is a piece of meat in our body - if it is good, all will be good but if it is otherwise the rest will suffer and follow suit to destruction.

Our heart (intention) is also vital to separate our amal. Is it for Allah (swt) or something else.

If what we do (our ibadah, etc) is only for Allah (swt) then that Muslim is most lucky and fortunate - remember what we vow in our Salat, "inna salati wanusuki wamayaya wa mamati lillahi rabbal'alamin". All beside Allah (swt) is immaterial.

There are three types of hearts mentioned in al-Qur'an:-

The heart is very sacred we have stored many idols in this heart of ours when in reality this was only the place to recognise and communicate with the beloved and feel the pangs of seperation from Allah but we have found many perverse and unfitting uses for it by god if people knew what this Celestial Jewel reallly was.

    a) The heart that is alive and well:- this belongs to the Muslims who are steadfast in their ibadah. and are aware of them selves and know exactly what the reaction of each of their actions is. and they recognise the Oneness of Allah and can see his Glory everywhere and pay total homage and allegience to rightly guided and forbid evil and enjoin good.

    b) The heart that is sick:- this belongs to the Muslims with a weak Iman..they admitted that Allah (swt) is the one and only but their actions are undesirable and against Allah (swt)'s rules and regulations. They fully Hypocrisy and pay full Allegience to the Devil even if they do not realise. their actions always contradict the laws and guidelines of Allah and use flattery and many other gestures to act as muslims but really they are in the wrong camp.

    c) The heart that is dead:- this belongs to the non-believers, they know (or sometime just could not be bothered) that Islam is the true religion but they totally rejected Islam.

Also many muslims have dead hearts liek we have said earlier on the diseases of the heart are many (this does not include physical illness cancer etc) these are te hidded mysteries of the Jewel which can be polished so much that you become one with harmony or you rebel so much that you never ever find that peace which you see in every face accepts yours.

    4. Enemy Number Four - This World (al-Dunya):

Rasulullah (s) regarded this "world" as an old lady which has limited time and is most horrible.

By comparing this world with an old lady Rasulullah (s.a.w). expected us to "shun" from it and be mindful of what this "dunya" has to offer.

Do we want a life of "pleasure" in this temporary and deceitful abode or do we rather forgo this "old lady" and wait for a better lady in waiting at jannah.

Rasulullah (s.a.w). mentioned that there will be a time when this ummah (us) will love this world too great to the extend that we are afraid of dying, na'uzubillah.

We must take what is necessary to sustain our life in order to facilitate our ibadah to Allah (swt) (zuhud al-dunya) and please remember Allah (swt) can take us back anytime, anywhere without a moment notice!

The Prophet has (s) said the world is a corpse and the humans are Dogs eating of it.

Imam Ali has said this world is a forsaken place its promise is fake and its glamour and glitter is just a temporary thing it deceives and corrupts it is a muddy drinking hole.

The true beliver said the Prophet (s) to Abu Dharr is he who in this world feels trapped as if a bird is in acage or a person in a prison the true beliver]wants to be freed from this world and reach the beloved in the next realm.

    5. Enemy Number Five - Fellow Humans:

Now this enemy falls into two categories:- the believers and non-believers.

The believers are our own brothers and sisters in Islam but unfortunately sometimes the enemy within us is much more dangerous and their "foul play" is much more devastating.

Rasulullah (s.a.w). mentioned that good and true friends are like those selling perfumes, if we mixed with them the fragrance will linger thus (effecting) making us smelling good too.

However, bad or nasty friends are compared to a blacksmith..we will feel the hotness (heat) and the sparks (fire) if we stand near to them...

Now the choice is yours..it is up to us to choose our friends:- to smell nice or be scalded or burnt?

Sometimes, we are betrayed and sabotaged by our own Muslim brothers and there are many a time when our jealousy and pride get the better of us and into the way of the success of our Muslims brothers.

We feel threatened and envious of their success and happiness and decide once for all to destroy him.

Now who is the winner in this game?

The non-believers on other hand will always hate Islam, be it because of their ignorance or just blindly motivated by nafs (unless they are given "tawfiq and hidayah" from Allah) they will only be happy if we follow their ways and lifestyles.

    6. Enemy Number Six - Your Family:

Our family will be our enemy without we realising it.

This is very evident especially if we are the head of the family and responsible for our members of family.

We must heed Allah (swt)'s advice to protect ourselves and our family against the fire (hell).

This call from Allah (swt) is often ignored by us...sometime to wake our children for Salat fajr we are reluctant we reasoned that they need the rest (sleep) and have to go to school.

We are more worried if they will be successful in this world ...but do we ever think about their afterlife?

If you really love your family please do them and yourselves this favour to observe Allah (swt) commands and prohibitions, insha'allah.

The family also makes many demands which can at times be unlawful man spends his whole time pleasing his family but they are never satisfied with him unless they are beleiving and god fearing people.

If that much effort was put into trying to secure the Bounties of the next world than we would all be successful.

    7. Enemy Number Seven - Your 'Ibadah:

You might be wondering how can your "ibadah" be your enemy.

This is true when your ibadah is not done properly according to its rules.

Allah (swt) will throw back your Salat "IN YOUR FACE!" (no..not ESPN style) if you do it hastily without ever considering why you Salat in the first place or without understanding what you are doing or if it is done with the wrong intention.

Our ibadah is for Proximity to Allah (swt)..if after this while, you see no improvement in yourselves in terms of your character, behaviour etc..there is a high chance that you are not really concentrating on your ibadah.

It is true who are we (human) to judge one's ibadah:- is it acceptable or not by Allah (swt)?

However please bear in mind Allah (swt) has set certain guidelines for us to gauge on how best we have performed in our ibadah..we will not see our fellow sisters who observe the Salat not putting on the "hijab" and we will not hear of any power struggle especially in mosques?

    8. Enemy Number Eight - Time:

Time is actually not your enemy if you spend it wisely and only to seek Allah (swt)'s blessing. In this world time is of an essence..each second goes without you noticing that you are actually wasting time.

Now ask this yourselves "What have I done or achieved in this world that will guarantee or defend me in life hereafter"..

Most of the time, we complained and lamented that we do not have enough time on our hands..just stop grumbling and start now..insya'allah if you are sincere and work hard towards seeing an improvement Allah (swt) will help you..

Don't blame "time" as your defence..time is also Allah (swt)'s creation and servant.. so work with this limited time to gain full-time happiness in heaven.

Time is on nobodies side that is why Allah swears by Time and says surely man is in loss.

But do we ever take Heed and look at our time which has passed and do we deeply sit and think about our age and how quickly we have become twenty or thirty or fourty and so on how much do we have left.

If time continues at the pace it has done that means in no Time we will all be dead so your buggered but buggered for ever not just a timely punishment like on earth but ETERNAL fire and or BLISS deppending on how you spent your time.

    9. Enemy Number Nine - Ignorant:

In fact, ignorance is one of the greatest enemy.

One will be totally lost without proper knowledge especially about Islam.

Knowledge is power:- the power to differentiate what is right and wrong.

A Muslim who is hardworking in ibadah without the knowledge on what or how an ibadah is to be performed, that ibadah will be rendered null and void.

What do you gain from this type of ibadah nothing but tiredness! Rasulullah (s.a.w). encouraged Muslims to seek knowledge from cradle (birth) to the grave (death).

Only knowledge will make us a better Muslim and again ignorance will get us nowhere be it in this world much more later in life hereafter.

To be Ignorant of the fact that you are ignorant is the worst kind of ignorance because majority of Muslims suffer from this very type of ignorance people generally think that they are o.k. and will be saved.

Some how but unless you fully understand each tenet of Islam and follow it because your intellect demands it because all your searching for truth have been fully satisfied and you have realized the oneness of Allah and are Intoxicated by his Majesty and Beauty which is prevelent everywhere unless this happens you are still one of the Ignorant.

    10. Enemy Number Ten - You (Yourself):

    "Yes, You!

    Do not turn around!"

We always blame others but do we really take a look at the man in the mirror and put the blame on him.

Yes, the above mentioned enemies are true and we must make an effort to avoid (get rid of) them....

But if we keep blaming them and we, ourselves do not make the effort to change or improve in that case what is the use of knowing all your enemies and we still keep "inviting" them to us?

We must force ourselves to fight these and the first change we have to make is within ourselves....(not just a change of clothes?) but totally from inside-out, when we succeed in this the rest will be easy and nothing...

Shaitan lanatullah will "wash its hands" on judgement day..we will not be able to turn around or look up and blame them, we will be responsible for our own acts!.

The devil cannot make you do anything thats what people say and unfortunetly most people are still in this thinking that shaitan has horns and fire coming out from his nose.

This is not the case we all can become Shaitans in an instance because he is the one who" Excites VAIN desire within us"

But we then follow out his command which comes in the form of our own personal wish this is how badly we follow him that when ever he wants to lead us Astray his wish is our desire and we always feel as i did this i did that yes its true we commited the action so there for we will suffer in the Grave and on the Promised day whilst Shaitan will be laughing at our faces and saying i only created blocks for you and you fell into them.

Dear brothers and sisters, there is a saying - know your enemy and you will know yourselves.

To know yourself is to know your Lord this saying is so true ask those people who sin to tell you who makes them sin.

They will either say themselves or they will blame society and culture etc.

But that is because they are slaves to their own Nafs which is being controlled by shaitan how many people actually reflect on this issue.

Very few thats why Muslim women today see everything as here and now and wish to enjoy their beauty and forsake the Hijab.

Because they dont realize reality and think there is enough time in old age to make up for lost time.

But it really does not work like this because firstly death can approach at any time.

Secondly if we spent fifty years sinning our nafs and way of thinking will be so polluted and fully under shaitans rule it will be much much harder to come to the straight path.

We now know our most deadly enemies now it is up to us to face the challenge and fight them.

This task will be easy for some and difficult for others but as long as we make the effort, Allah (swt) will definitely guide us.

I hope and pray for all Muslims to be able to face this 10 MOST WANTED and come out, triumphant. Amin.

    The Believer is Allah’s Building on Earth;
So What is the Penalty of the One Who Dismantles it?

The obligation the believer has towards another is drawn from a universal and

deep view of existence. As long as man relates himself to the Lord, he will be a

‘divine’ being who enjoys the bestowed divine state of inviolability. Acting

unjustly towards the man who holds this state however is surely considered acting

unjustly towards the one who granted it

By ‘the believer’, we do not mean someone who has attained the highest rank in

faith; rather, we mean the one with an acceptable degree of commitment to

the sharia and who is determined on following the religion even if he relinquishes

his commitment in one of the stages. If the word ‘believer’ mentioned in the Koran

and the Tradition is taken as meaning members of that elite group of believers,

    none would qualify.

Not having this divine view, as a result of the constant association with the

believer, helps in violating his rights because constant association plays down the

missive side of a person. Thus, we mistreat the believer forgetting his association

to Allah who does not consent to the weakening of his servant. This is why Allah

hurries to his defence especially if he was defenceless.

The obligation of the believer to other believers has many dimensions; the

material dimension is one of them. The issue of relieving each other’s financial

distresses is one of the greatest means of endearment to Allah. And as you

notice in the Koran, meditation-which is an individual form of worship-is

linked to almsgiving-which is a social form of worship. The consequence of

separating these two kinds of worship is the incomplete benefit from each.

Another obligation is taking care of the spiritual dimension. We all know that

psychological disturbances are among the most important problems that stand in

the way of achieving progress in working for this world and the hereafter.

Therefore, comforting the believer-even with half a word-could save him from a

    destructive abyss.

Because comforting the believer is bound by the laws of spirituality, the one who

embarks upon it must work hard to achieve professionalism in this field.

Nowadays, there are different schools of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

These help give an academic dimension to the process of natural thinking, even

though they are not totally right.

Both the sharia and the mind do not object to taking the initiative in looking for

other people’s worries instead of waiting for them to ask for help, for he who starts

people with kindness is better than the one who answers their requests.A man

must hurry to evaluate his fellow believer’s problems-especially if he was a

relative-to prevent him from falling into sin, once he sees a sign of abnormal

    conduct.

Because not all men are logical and rational, one must be extremely careful

when dealing with people who are sensitive and emotional especially regarding

relations with women. The wise man should recognize the individual differences in

    everyone when dealing with him.

Another obligation believers have towards each other is protecting each other’s

social grace. Allah has forbidden defaming-even if it was based on facts-as man

experiences different states and may make mistakes in any of the stages.

Therefore, if one discloses his fellow man’s faults, he would disgrace him, which

would prevent him from reversing his mistakes when social disgrace

    becomes a reality.

Spreading other people’s scandalous acts-especially of those who are not

expected to be involved-could make some people lose their faith in other

believers, which will in turn negatively affect their commitment to their faith! The

solution in this case is to help these people get out of the state they are in

so that their deviation is not used as an excuse for others to deviate.

The sayings made by the infallible Imams (P.U.T) strongly emphasise the

seriousness of discrediting the believer in people’s eyes. What a painful

chastisement it is that Imam al-Sadiq (P.U.H) threatens of saying, “ Allah ousts

him from His guardianship to Satan’s guardianship, and then Satan will not

accept him”. How miserable is someone whom even Satan does not accept as a

    follower!

The Effects of Losing The Divine Light

The image “http://www.masjid-alrasool.org/design/corporate/images/bismillah2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

The Effects of Losing The Divine Light

In his daily life, the believer desperately needs a light to clarify the way for him especially if it is ramified. It is clear that the source of light is the Creator who is the Light of heavens and earth; the verse says, [Indeed the man from whom Allah withholds His light shall find no light at all]

Among the effects of losing this light is having the concepts mixed up and failing to see the distinction between them. This will naturally lead to the state the

following verse describes, [Say: ‘ Shall we tell you who will be the greatest losers in their works? Those whose striving goes astray in the present life while they

think they are working good deeds]. So, it is useless to admonish such a person because he already thinks he is right

Other close concepts, which can lead the negligent into making mistakes, are ‘the bearing of disgrace ‘ and ‘forgiving’. Some might perceive forgiving others as

accepting disgrace, thus making it easy for Satan to lure them into taking vengeance. In fact forgiveness is a state of rising above the sinful souls; so how

could that be disgraceful! Rather it is a feeling of honour, highness and turning away from falsehood.

Other close concepts are the ‘trusting in God’ and ‘passivity’. Some people neglect pursing their goals supposing that trusting in God means abandoning going by the natural causes. Instead, they ask Allah to replace them in doing their duties; this is passivity in itself. Trusting in God is similar to sowing the seeds in the good land and asking Allah for rain. So, he who has no seeds to sow could not be considered to be a farmer!

Other close concepts are ‘mysticism’ and ‘training of the soul’. We do not deny the existence throughout history of a corrupt faction by the name of Sufis (Arabic Mystics). Those assumed a way of training the soul inconsistent with the teachings of the Koran and the Tradition of the Prophet and his Household

(PBUT). This resulted in the practice of strange rituals and beliefs. The truth is that training the soul is the product of the Prophet’s massage and mission. Did he not state that, “I was sent o perfect the noble manners”!

Other close concepts are ‘firmness’ and ‘harshness’. Some people like to assume firmness especially in the family environment by resorting to applying severe

measures of treatment thinking that they are being firm! Whereas the Koran warned us against using this kind of treatment. So, addressing the Prophet it says,

[Had you been harsh and hard- hearted they would have surely deserted you].

Other close concepts are ‘saying the words’ and ‘actually meaning them’.

For example when one is asked to ‘take refuge in Allah from Satan’, he would merely pronounce the known charm. Taking refuge in fact is a mental process involving: Seeking refuge in Allah’s Fort, knocking on its gate, running away from what one really fears, and being certain of the ability of the Fort’s Lord to protect. Now, how different is that from the mere verbal ‘taking refuge’! It is known that the ultimate effect of saying the words is conditional on the mental process and not on the repetition of the words.

Other close concepts are ‘being wary’ and ‘being worried’. We are commanded to be wary of emergency future situations by preparing for them in advance, on

the personal and family levels. But some people tend to experience worry and psychological distress which make them think that future is always gloomy

forgetting in the process that Allah is the best defender of His friend whenever and wherever he might be.

    The Single Link

    The Single Link

Every now and then the solitary moments hold my hands,
and take me into seen yet unseen lands.
My thoughts float over the valleys and mountains that soar high,
the sky hugging structures, busy streets, the people and I.

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

Every drop of water that moistens my lips,
gushing rivers and oceans with floating boats and ships.
Every crumb of bread that I eat,
Trees laden with fruits, the golden fields of wheat,

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

Each leaf that moves, to blow the soft breeze,
the white blanket of snow that brings the freeze,
Each ray of sun that bathes the world in gold,
the seasons that change but never get old.

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

The heart where I treasure my joys and fears
The eyes that share my smiles and tears,

All the things that make my life,
The pains , the leisures and the strife
    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

All the threads linked to one single link ,
take a moment to sit back and think.

Allah has showered you and me,
with the blessings that we enjoy yet not really see.
We can't thank enough for all that we get
To praise and give our thanks to Allah we shouldn't forget.

    Subhanallah ,Alhamdullilah,Allah-u- Akbar!!

Praying Fajr reflects how much you love Allah the Almighty

The happiness of that guy was tremendous when a well-known company accepted him to work for it. He was over the moon as he was the only accepted candidate.

He signed the contract that implies that he should agree on respecting the company working hours, delivering weekly reports about his work and activities, and accepting to be punished for any delinquency
    ..... read more

Soon later, the guy met his manager and said to him, "From tomorrow onwards, I will not come in time. And I will not deliver my weekly reports in time either; instead they will be delayed for a while. In spite of all that, I will not allow you to punish me, and you don't have the right to kick me out from work."

If we imagine such a situation, we will laugh at the behaviour of that guy. No-one will see him but an insane and a fool person. How come can someone want to take his rights whereas he is not committed to his own obligations?!

So, why most of us do the same strange action or even worse?
(As we commit a worse sin against the Law of Allah the Almighty.) How can a sane person allow himself to enjoy all Allah's graces: such as food, drink, clothes and life pleasures; whereas he doesn't offer Allah the simplest obligatory He obligates him to do, viz. Praying?!
And even if he prays, then he doesn't pray in time or he prays like a rooster (i.e. he prays too hastily and carelessly). He neither complies with his praying nor apprehends what he says.

According to our web site visitors survey in the arabic section of IslamWay.com that included more than 4000 persons:
14% of them never pray Fajr in its time
16% of them rarely pray Fajr in its time
33% of them often pray Fajr in its time
35% of them always pray Fajr in its time

Subhan Allah!! (*) We are not talking about jurisprudence about which scholars disagreed or even a Sunnah that one has a choice to do or not. We are talking about ABC Islam. We are talking about praying that Allah Almighty obligates on all Muslims - whatever their conditions are.

When Allah the Almighty ordered Muslims to pray He warned those who delay the prayer after its designated time, saying:

"So woe to the worshippers Who are neglectful Of their prayers" [Surat Al-ma'oon 107:4-5]

The interpreters said that what is meant by this verse is delaying prayer after its designated time. They also said : "woe" is a very deep sheer black valley in Hell. Don't we believe in Allah's Words?

A lot of Muslims nowadays neglect Fajr prayer as if they it was not there. That's why they pray it much later than its time. In addition, some of them pray it immediately before the Noon prayer. Others may never pray it even for compensation (Qaddaa). So why all this laziness against what Allah the Almighty deserves? Don't we proclaim that we love Allah the Almighty more than any thing else? Once one of us loves someone a true love, he will be willing to meet him. He may keep thinking of him most of the time. Once he has a date with him, he canNOT sleep until he meets the one he loves. So, do those lazy prayers who do not pray Fajr prayer really love Allah? Do they really respect His Orders? Are they willing to meet Him?.

Let's imagine that a multi-millionaire offered one of his employees $1000 every day, just on one condition, viz. the employee must call daily at his employer's house in the morning as to wake him up then leave. Such a simple task may take the employee 10 minutes only. This marvellously generous offer will be valid as long as the employee keeps awaking his employer regularly. On the other hand, this offer will be cancelled permanently, and the employee will be asked to return all the money he received, if he neglects to awake his employer once without an excuse.

So, if you, my Muslim brother, were that employee , will you neglect to call at your employer's house? Won't you carefully intend to wake up daily to get the one thousand dollar? Won't you - once you failed one morning - try with all means to prove that you were truly unable to wake up?.

Allah has the higher example, so what about you my dear brother towards your Lord, Allah the Almighty? He is the ONLY ONE who gives you your means of living and who bestowed you with every thing, whose blessings on you are utterly much more than millions of dollars daily. It is Him Who says:
"...if you try to count the blessings of Allah , you will fail...." [Surat Ibrahim: 14 : 34]

Doesn't this Lord, the The Most Merciful, the Most Generous deserve that you wake up for Him every morning at about 5.30 a.m. so as to thank Him just in 5 or 10 minutes for His great blessings and his generous favours?

The judgement against those who neglect praying Fajr Prayer in time:
    Allah the Almighty says:
"...for such prayers are enjoined on Believers at stated times." [Surat Annesaa: 4 : 103]
    • Islam is a comprehensive way of life… It is like an agreement between The Great Lord and His humble servant. According to this agreement, the servant commits to certain obligations before Allah. With respect to these obligations, Allah would grant the servant rights and privileges. It is insensible that you agree to this contract, then, soon afterwards, you do whatever you like and neglect whatever you do not like. Allah Almighty says in the Quran:
" O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil One; for he is to you an avowed enemy." [Surat Al-baqara: 2 : 208]
The interpreters said: this means to accept Islam with all its legislation and rules. Allah got exasperated with the people of Israel when they performed what they liked from His religion and neglected the rest. That's why He addresses them saying:
"…Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? But what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life? And on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do." [Surat Al-baqara: 2 : 85]
As far as one's punctuality on attending prayers is considered, The Prophet (peace be upon him) sees those who do not punctually attend Fajr (dawn) and Ishaa (night) Salat in congregation as being sheer hypocrites "Munafeqeen". So what do you think of those who do not pray Fajr at all, neither in congregation nor alone (at home)?

    • The Prophet (pbuh) said: "There is no prayer more difficult to attend for hypocrites than Fajr and Ishaa. And if they knew what's in them (i.e. the good reward - thawab) they would attend them even if they had to come crawling." (Narrated by Bukhari)

    • Allah Almighty mentions that He disavows whosoever neglects the obligatory Salat. Besides, The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Do not ever leave Salat on purpose because whoever does so then he is disavowed by Allah and His Messenger." (Narrated by Imam Ahmad)
So do you like, Oh Muslim brother and sister, for the closest one to you to disavow you? So how do you neglect the Salat and cause Allah to be disavow you?

Well....now what have I to do?
    • Every one us should set an alarm clock to wake him for Fajr Salat daily.

    • We should give Salat its status in our lives, and we should discipline our jobs according to the Salat regular times. (Unfortunately, we simply do the opposite!)

    • We should sleep early and wake up for Fajr and then leave for work. Soon after Fajr, Allah distributes people's sustenance (Arzaq).

    • Each one of us should seek a good companionship that would call to wake him at Fajr Salat. Moreover, they would help one another to adhere to such a good deed.

    • We should keep on saying our nightly Duaa (that we say just after before going to sleep) asking Allah to help us do our Salat.

    • To feel guilty if we missed a single obligatory Salat. Furthermore, we should vow never to repeat this big sin.
May Allah make us all be among those who truly love Him. May He give us sincerity in both words and deeds. (Amen) Finally, whatever is right in this article then it is a gift from Allah. And whatever mistakes or shortcomings then they are due to myself or Shytan (Satan).

(*) Subhan Allah!!: This is an Islamic way of exclamation.

    Is there a Creator ?

    Is there a Creator ?

We will answer by quoting a number of aayaat (verses) from the Book of Allaah (the Qur’aan – the scripture of Islam), then you can think to yourself about the matter and if the truth becomes clear to you, you will have no choice but to follow it. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“We created you, then why do you believe not?
Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit.
Is it you who create it (i.e., make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator?
We have decreed death unto you all, and We are not unable,
To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not.
And indeed, you have already known the first form of creation (i.e., the creation of Adam). Why then do you not remember or take heed?
Tell Me! The seed that you sow in the ground.
Is it you that make it grow, or are We the Grower?
Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry pieces, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment),
(Saying), ‘We are indeed Mughramoon (i.e., ruined, or lost the money without any profit, or punished by the loss of all that we spent for cultivation, etc.)!
    ‘Nay, but we are deprived!’
Tell Me! The water that you drink,
Is it you who cause it from the rainclouds to come down, or are We the Causer of it to come down?
If We willed, We verily could make it salt (and undrinkable). Why then do you not give thanks (to Allaah)?
Tell Me! The fire which you kindle,
Is it you who made the tree thereof to grow, or are We the Grower?
We have made it a Reminder (for the Hell-fire, in the Hereafter); and an article of use for the travellers (and all others, in this world).
The glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.
So I swear by mawaaqi’ (setting to the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse),
And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but knew,
That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Qur’aan).” [Quran 56:57-77]

Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators?
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?” [Quran 52:35-37]

“Verily, the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allaah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed aayaat (proofs, evidences, signs) for people of understanding.” [Quran 2:164]

“It is He Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date-palm and its spathe come forth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.” [Quran 6:99]

“And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), till when they have carried a heavy-laden cloud, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed.” [Quran 7:57]

“Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any god with Allaah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!” [Quran 27:60]

“He has created the heavens and the earth without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.” [Quran 31:10]

And the two seas (kinds of water) are not alike, this fresh, sweet and pleasant to drink, and that saltish and bitter. And from them both you eat fresh tender meat (fish), and derive the ornaments that you wear. And you see the ships cleaving (the sea-water as they sail through it), that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may give thanks.” [Quran 35:12]

And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.” [Quran 25:53]

This is a selection of clear aayaat that include the answer to your question. We invite you to join the community of the believers and to enter the religion of Islam which Allaah has chosen as the religion for all mankind. Peace be upon those who follow true Guidance.

The Quran from the perspective of a non-Muslim

The Quran from the perspective of a non-Muslim

Robin Peters is a 44 years old lady who read the Quran and then she liked to comment on what she've read .. so let's see what did she say ..

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The Koran is the Bible of Islam. Revealed to the world by Muhammad approximately 1,400 years ago, it is regarded by Muslims, universally, as the word of God to Muhammad and from him to all Islam. No devout Muslim disputes this; in this respect, there is more agreement among Muslims about the divine origin of the Koran (seen as having been literally dictated to Muhammad by the mouth of Allah Himself) than there is about the origins of the Bible among Christians.

Even those of us forced to rely on translations of the Koran (considered interpretations of same because only the Arabic Koran is the literal Word of God) can see the literary value of this work. There is tremendous spiritual and psychological value in reading this book, as well, for Muslim and non-Muslim alike.

For me, the psychological value of this book comes in its emphasis on right and wrong belief and standing up for what you believe in, even if it costs you dearly in terms of human relationships. Certainly, no one has accused Muslims of being wishy-washy about their faith! In fact, the differences in the various branches of Islam come from the ways in which they practice their faith. A Sunni Muslim will differ from a Shi'ite or Twelver Muslim in the way in which they practice their faith, but they will not disagree about the divine origin of the Koran or the fact that there are correct and incorrect beliefs. I think that Catholics and Protestants can learn an important lesson from Muslims in this regard; we have become so concerned with whether or not the Bible is inspired or dictated directly from the mouth of the Lord, or whether certain beliefs are correct or incorrect, or whether certain actions or practices are moral or immoral, that we are no longer truly Christian or loving of one another.

The Koran basically mandates certain behavior from the rank-and-file believer. In this respect, Islam is less a religion than a way of life and pattern of behavior with Allah (God) at its very center. By way of contrast, Christians leave Christianity at the door of church on Sunday, still practicing that civil religion so popular during the 1950s and so offensive to those of us who take the Bible and Christ seriously. Muslims are expected to pray five times daily; Christians who pray once daily are seen as "out of the loop" and are thus discouraged from contacting God regularly unless it's to be polite during a worship service. Muslims fast at least one month a year; Christians generally ignore the need to undergo cycles of feasting and fasting, unless they belong to a denomination which takes Lent seriously. Muslims consider charitable donations a tax of sorts, due and payable once a year during the feast of Eid, one of the five pillars of the faith without which one is not a Muslim; Christians generally donate to charity with such highhandedness and snobbery that they might as well not donate one penny.

I would strongly recommend that people of all religious persuasions read the Koran, if only to learn more about what Islam really is all about.

What do Muslims believe about Jesus?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus?

creation of Jesus as follows (interpretation of the meaning):

    "Behold! the Angel said,

`God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary, God gives you glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one that shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.'

She said: `O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: `Even so; God creates what He wills. When He decrees a thing, He but says to it, "Be!" and it is." [sus (peace be upon him) was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam (peace be upon him) into being without a father:

"Truly, the likeness of Jesus unto Allaah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, `Be!' and he was." [ Quran 3:59 ]iracles. The Qur’aan tells us that he said (interpretation of meaning):

"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allaah’s leave. And I heal the blind and the lepers, and I raise the dead by Allaah’s leave." [Quran 3:49]

To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign form your Lord, so fear God and obey me." [Quran  3:50]

    The Teacher of teachers,
He changed the world for the better
    And made us better creatures,
    Oh Allah we’ve shamed ourselves
    We’ve strayed from Al-Mu'allim,
    Surely we’ve wronged ourselves
What will we say in front him?
    Oh Mu'allim...

He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,
    Muhammad, mercy upon Mankind,
He was Muhammad salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam,

    The Existence of God

    The Existence of God

The concept of a Supreme Creator of the universe has been something, which the western world has been trying to prove or refute now for thousands of years. However, only in the past 200 years have the creme de la creme of western intellectuals, come to the conclusion that a God/Creator of the universe is and has been a figment of mans imagination. This conclusion was formed as a reaction to the beliefs and practices of Christianity, which was a major force in European life at this time. Beliefs such as that of the Trinity[1] and the divine nature of Jesus Christ, were so complicated to understand - even for the elite of the church - that eventually the idea of a supreme and perfect creator (which Christianity had distorted) was replaced by many new theories which tried to explain how mankind came about and developed. Many different theories were introduced to the western world, but one common trait, which they all shared, was that there was no Supreme force, which governed the universe.

So where does Islam come into all of this? Islam[2] is the one way of life, the one religion which until now has not been challenged successfully by any philosopher, atheist or intellectual. Rather the case has been the exact opposite and there have been thousands, if not millions, of so-called 'atheists' who have reverted back to Islam. So how does Islam explain the existence of this Supreme Creator?

    The Natural Way

Allaah says in his final revelation, the Qur'aan:

"Therefore turn your face steadfastly towards the true faith, away from all that which is false, in accordance with the Pure nature with which Allaah has Created people. Let there be no altering in the laws of Allaah's Creation. This is surely the true religion, but most people do not know it."
    (Surah Ar-Rum 30:30)

The pure nature which is mentioned in this verse is probably the most convincing proof of a divine creator to any sincere seeker of truth. Which person can deny (atheist or otherwise) that when he/she is in dire trouble, when life is about to be taken away from them, when the pressures are unbearable - that then do they turn to that force above the skies. How many times are we confronted by a scenario in which the words: "Please God help me, and I promise that Iwill always pray to you and be good." roll off our tongues with such sincerity? Every time something bad happens, words such as these come out of the people's mouths. Yet as soon as the harm is removed the very same people beseeching the help of their creator, turn away:

"And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto him you cry aloud for help. Yet no sooner does he remove your ills then some of you set up partners to their lord."
    (Surah An-Nahl 16:53-54)

This pure nature which every human is born with is known as the Fitrah in the Arabic language. Every human being, man or woman is born with this natural instinct to recognise the Creator and turn to Him. This is proved by the hadeeth[5] of the last messenger to mankind Muhammed (s.a.w.) who said: "Every child is born upon the pure fitra, it is only his parents that later turn him into a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian.[6]"[7]

In fact if humans were not influenced by their societal pressures then their belief in the Creator would be distinct and clearly visible. But unfortunately this is not the case, and there exists in all non-Muslim societies a clear trend to distort the nature of human beings. One of the ways in which this is done in western societies is through the education system and its institutions. Western education is based around a whole body of secular thought which has no place for a Creator. In science lessons kids are taught that we are the ancestors of monkeys and apes and that this implies that we came about by pure chance.[8] In subjects such as psychology and sociology we are taught that religion is a tool of the privileged few who oppress the downtrodden majority.[9] This form of education has also unfortunately influenced the Muslims, and we find it very common nowadays to see the likes of the 'Abdullaah's' and the 'Fatima's' of western society proclaiming that they do not believe in God.

    The Beauty of creation

    Allaah says in the Qur'aan:

"Verily in the creation of the heavens and the earth, in the alternation of night and day, in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of the people, in the water which Allaah sends down from the skies reviving with it the dead earth and dispersing over it all kinds of beasts, in the change of the winds, and in the clouds that run their appointed courses between heaven and earth: In all of this, indeed there are signs for people of understanding."
    (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:164)

SubhaanAllaah![11] How beautiful and accurate this verse is. Is it not true that when we look at the world around us we see such beauty and craftsmanship. Surely such excellence could not have come about by chance. Everything in this world and universe runs on a set course and pattern, so how is it possible then, that by pure chance everything in this universe was created with such skill and precision?

The wonders of nature are absolutely astounding, the wind, the rain, the hail and the snow were all products of chance, then why is it that mankind, with all his technological know how, cannot even divert the softest of breezes which blows through the trees in summer? The answer is obvious. All these natural elements are aspects of Allaah's Creation and he alone can control and manipulate them as he wills.

In fact the Creation of Allaah is so perfect that even if we try to detect a fault in it, then we will not succeed:

"Blessed he He to Whom all sovereignty belongs; He has power over all things. He Who Created death and life that He may test which of you is best in deed. He is the Almighty, the Oft-forgiving. He Who Created the seven heavens one above another. You can see no fault in the Creation of the Bestower of Mercy. Turn up your eyes: Can you detect a single flaw? Look once more, and yet again: Your sight will in the end grow humbled and weary."
    (Surah Al-Mulk 67:1-4)

It is not just the seas, the mountains, the rivers and the skies which are a proof for the existence of our Creator, but also ourselves. Allaah says in the Qur'aan:

"On the earth are signs visible to all who have faith with certainty, just as there are signs within your ownselves. Will you then not see?"
    (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:20-21)

The variety of humanity is indeed amazing, black and white, tall and short, fat and thin, good and evil, man and woman etc. etc. How many times have we considered the complex makeup of our bodies both physical and mental and found it to be completely beyond belief. It is known that if the intestines of a human being were taken out of the body, they would be so long that they could cover the entire area of a tennis court!

But when we think about these long intestines being inside of us, it astounds and amazes us. The human brain is thought to be more powerful that any mainframe computer on earth, whilst the eye is said to be more complex and structured then any telescope invented by man. The human mind is something which is still undiscovered by psychologists and psychiatrists, and the nature of our dreams and thoughts is something which these people will probably never unravel. So we should ask ourselves, is it still possible for such a complex being such as ourselves, to be a mere product of chance, or rather, are we products of a supreme and skillful creator, who has shown us that he really is Al-Khaliq?[14]

Yet despite our complicated and intricate makeup, our comparison to the Creator is not even possible. Mankind with his level of technology has gained the impression that he is the most supreme being in this universe. Yet when we look at examples of western society we see that these same humans who claim such superiority, cannot even maintain basic standards of hygiene! Washing the body-parts after urinating or excreting has almost become a sin for many people in the west, yet at the same time these people are the very same who claim technological advancement! Maybe if they believed in a Creator, the basics of life would perchance return to them, just as they have returned to the Muslims.

The proofs for the existence of a creator are so numerous that it would take us a very long time to go through every single one. So finally we should remember, that the creation of humanity was neither an accident, nor a development from monkey to man. Rather it was the creation of Allah the Most High, the Most Perfect, who reminds us of the stupidity of those who claim that He did not create us:

"Were they created of nothing? or were they perchance, their own creators? or did they create the heavens and the earth? surely they have no firm belief."
    (Surah At-Tur 52:35-36)

    Footnotes
1 The belief that the Father (God), the son (Jesus) and the Holy spirit (?) are all parts of one God, despite the fact that they are 3 separate entities!! To this very day millions of Christians are still unable to understand this belief, which is one of the reasons why it has even been thrown out of some versions of the Bible.
