    Welcome to Momineen.com

It is Allah's Determination to Keep All the Filth Away From Ahlul Bayt [the progeny of Muhammad SAW] (33:33)

    Welcome to Momineen.com

Shia momineen start their new year with remembrance of Imam Hussain A.S, who gave his, his family, and his companions' life for the upbeat of those who have and are suffering from the atrocities of the powerful of this world. His sacrifice carries hope for many.

Those humans who declared them selves gods, due to their fractional mundane ownerships, all of them had to leave this world with all their grace and might down the earth and to meet the real God the Allah Subhan-o-ta'allah. Thereafter, only historians wrote about them. But those who stood against such so-called gods, for them Allah created tribes after tribes to remember and pay attributes to their sacrifices He, who cries at the suffering of a victim is the best friend of humanity.

Shiite believe in divine light(s) and links between both sides of the worlds. Shiite (the faith) and Shia are under constant watch by 12th Imam. Their Grand Ayatullahs get direct instructions from the living (Shuhodas are alive -Al Quran) 12th Imams and indirectly from all other pious bodies who are no longer among us. That keeps Shia faith on straight path described in Quran as "Siraat-al-Mustaqeem".

The purpose of this web site is to propagate the cause of Imamate and voice for justice for all through education and correct faith.

Your sickness is within you, though you do not realize,

And your cure is within, yet you do not see.

You claim that you are nothing but a tiny entity,

Yet wrapped up inside of you is the greatest universe.

You are the clear book, through whose letters

All that is secret is revealed and made known.

So you have no need for anything outside of you,

Your consciousness is within you, though you do not know.

    Responsibilities and Duties

To the Muslims we have only one very simple thing to say: Understand and fulfil the responsibilities and duties that fall upon you by virtue of your being Muslims.

You cannot get away with merely affirming that you are Muslims and that you have accepted God as your only God and Islam as your religion.

Rather, as soon as you acknowledge Allah as your only Lord and His guidance as your way of life, you take upon yourselves certain obligations and duties.

These obligations you must always remain conscious of, these duties you must always endeavor to discharge.

If you evade them, you shall not escape the evil consequences of your conduct in this world or in the Hereafter.

    What are these duties?

They are not merely confined to the affirmation of faith in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgement.

Nor are they confined to performing the Prayers, observing the Fasts, going on the Pilgrimage, and paying the Alms.

Nor are these duties exhausted by observing the injunctions of Islam relating to marriage, divorce and inheritance.

Over and above all these duties, there is one which is the most important: that your lives bear witness to the Truth that you have been given by God before all mankind, the Truth which you believe to be true.

    The Only Purpose of Existence

The Qur'an clearly states that witnessing to the Truth in a manner that would leave mankind with no justifiable ground to deny it is the only purpose behind constituting you as a distinct Ummah (community), named Muslims.

And thus We have made you a community of the middle way, so that you may be witnesses [to the Truth] before all mankind, and the Messenger may be witness [to it] before you (al-Baqarah 2: 143).

This mission is the sole objective for which your Ummah has been brought into being, it is the raison d'etre of its existence as a society of human beings.

Unless you fulfil it you are squandering your life.

For this is no ordinary duty; it is a duty enjoined on you by God.
It is a Divine command and a Divine call:

O believers, be ever steadfast in standing up, for the sake of God, bearing witness to justice (al-Ma'idah 5: 8) .

It is not a mere trifle but an emphatic and grave mandate, for Allah also says:

And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who suppresses a witness entrusted to him by God (al-Baqarah 2: 140).

You have been warned of the consequences of evading this duty.

Look at the history of the people of Israel.

They too were appointed to stand in the witness-box; but sometimes they suppressed the Truth, and sometimes they witnessed against it.

By their conduct, they, in fact, became witnesses to falsehood rather than witnesses to the Truth.

The consequence was that God forsook them and a curse fell upon them.

And so, humiliation and powerlessness afflicted them, and they earned God's anger (al-Baqarah 2: 61).

    Witness to the Truth

What does this duty of witness imply?

Consider it carefully: You have been given Divine guidance, you have been shown the Truth.

You must, therefore, establish by your testimony and witness its authenticity and truthfulness before all mankind.

This is a testimony that will make the authenticity and truthfulness of Divine guidance self-evident, for all to see, and a witness that will make it clear and indisputable for all people.

For this very purpose all the Messengers were sent to the world; this was their primary duty.

After them, their followers were entrusted with the same duty.

And now the Muslim Ummah, as the successor to the Last Prophet, blessings and peace be on him, is charged with this very mission, just as he was charged with it during his lifetime.

How Should We Witness to the Truth?

Let us now see in what manner we should discharge our duty of witnessing to the Truth.

Witnessing is of two types: one, witness by words, or the word-witness; the other, witness by acts and deeds, or the act-witness.

    Word-witness

In what way should our words witness to the Truth?

Through our speech and writing, we should proclaim and explain to the world the guidance that has come to us through God's Messengers.

This, in sum, is the word-witness.

Employing all possible methods of education, using all possible means of communication and propagation, mastering all knowledge provided by the contemporary arts and sciences, we should inform mankind of the way of life that God has laid down for man.

The guidance that Islam gives to humanity in thought and belief, in morality and behavior, in culture and civilization, in economics and business, in jurisprudence and judiciary, in politics and civil administration that is, in all aspects of inter-human relations we should clearly and fully expound before mankind.

By rational discourse and convincing evidence, we should establish its truth and soundness.

By soundly reasoned critique, we should rebut all that is contrary to the guidance given by God.

    The task is enormous.

Full justice cannot be done to it unless the thought of guiding man to the right path seizes the whole Ummah as completely as it did each Messenger personally.

It is essential, too, that this task should become the central objective of all our collective endeavors, that we should commit all our hearts and minds, all of our resources, to this cause.

Uppermost in all our actions should be this objective.

Under no circumstances should we allow any voice within ourselves to bear witness against the Truth and Divine guidance that we have.

    Act-witness

In what way should our acts and deeds witness to the Truth?

For this purpose, the guidance that we hold to be true we must put into practice.

Our actions should demonstrate the principles we profess to believe in.

Put simply: let our lives speak the truth, and let the world hear it not merely from our lips but also from our deeds; let mankind witness all the blessings that the Divine guidance brings to human life.

Let the world taste in our conduct, individual and collective, that sweetness and flavor which only the faith in One God can impart to character and morality.

Let the world see what fine examples of humanity are fashioned by Islam, what a just society is established, what a sound social order emerges, what a clean and noble civilization arises, how science, literature, and art flourish and develop on sound lines, what a just economy compassionate and free from conflict is brought about. Indeed, how every aspect of life is set right, developed and enriched.

We shall not be doing our duty to this task unless our lives, individual and collective, become a living embodiment of Islam: unless our personal characters are a living proof of its truth, our homes are fragrant with its teachings, our businesses and factories are illuminated by its rules and laws, our schools and institutions are shaped by its ideas and norms, and our literature and media reflect its principles.

Indeed until our entire national policy and public life make its truth manifest and self-evident.

In short, wherever and whenever any individual or people come in contact with us it is our duty to convince them, by our example, that the principles and teachings which Islam proclaims to be true are indeed true, and that they do improve the quality of human life and raise it to better and higher levels.

    The True Love

    The True Love

Imam Mohammad al-Baqir said: " Religion is love and love is religion. "

Love has its standards. There is love which is insecure and weak, which almost cannot be felt by its owner. There is love which fills the heart of a servant; no free time is spared for activities other than zikr-Allah. There is love which cannot be appeased by prayers, zikr-Allah and good deeds, no matter how much is being done.

Imam Jafar al-Sadiq in one of his du'as said:

"O' Allah, my hunger for Your love does not make me full, my thirst for Your love does not make me satisfied, how I yearn for The One who protects me without me being able to see Him. "

    Imam Ali Zainul-'Abedeen in said:

"O' Allah, the self that You have strengthened with Your Oneness, will You reduce to insignificance with Your expulsion? the heart already tied with Your love, will You burn with the flames of Your fire?"

True love is the binding power of love and hope.

Imam Ali Zainul-'Abedeen in his du'a said:

" For Your honor, dear Lord if You chase me away, I will remain firm before Your door and I will not stop begging You, as I've learnt of Your kindness and Your compassion and the expanse of Your mercy, who else should a servant come to if not his Master? who else should a servant turn to if not his Creator? Dear Allah, if You tie me up with chains and hold back Your mercy on me before the eyes of Your witnesses, if You cast away my modesty before the eyes of Your servants and command me into hell and You separate me from those who have served You, never, never will I stop hoping and never will I cease longing for Your forgiveness, Your love will never leave my heart. "

This is an expression of love and hope so pure, which is uttered by a lover to his Beloved. Even as he is engulfed in hellfire, love and hope bind in the heart of the servant, seeking the mercy of his God to pity him and save him from punishment.

Another astounding form of love is painted by Imam Ali in the du'a Kumail:

" For Your Honor, dear God and Protector, I pledge my sincerity. if You leave me standing in the middle of earth's inhabitants, I will cry with the tears of those who preserve hope. I will scream with the anguish of those who are helpless. I will not stop calling out for You, wherever You may be. Dear Guardian of all mukminin, Dear Destination of hopes of all 'arifin, Dear Beloved of the lovers of truth, Dear God, the Creator of the universe, You are Most Worthy of all praises.

will You listen, dear Lord to the voice of Your servant who is confined because of his disobedience, who is tormented with Your punishments because of his defiance, who is expelled to hell because of sins and vice? he pleads with You, hoping for Your mercy he calls out to You with the tongue of those who acknowledge Your Oneness, he trusts in Your Name, with Your Divinity.

Dear Allah, how can he remain in sufferance when he hopes for Your compassion how can hell hurt him when he prays for Your love how can the flames burn him when You hear his pleading voice and You see his pain how can the raging fires swallow him when You know his weakness how can he struggle in it when You recognize his sincerity how can Zabaniah hurl him down when he calls out "Ya Robbi!" how can he beg for Your help and You only ignore him?

no. that is not what I think of You it will never be that way with You towards Your faithful servants, only kindness and mercy will You grant them.

with confidence I dare say, if not because of Your decision to punish those who oppose You, surely You would have created all fires cool and calm there would not have been a dwelling place for anyone in it but, You are Most Knowledgeable. "

The above du'a depicts a servant being confined in the rage of hellfire. The servant does not merely give up. Although he is propelled by Zabaniah into hell and has to face punishments, he still comes before Allah with pleas, tears and hopes.

When Imam Ali prays before Allah, he seems like a child who has not discovered his world; his love for his mother is the wall he leans on and a place he relishes. Each time he is trapped in a problem or dangerous situation, he relies on his mother for help. If he does wrong and feels he will be punished by his mother, he will try to seek help from another trusted person for protection. However, he will never obtain the same security he receives from his mother. Eventually, he goes back to his mother.

Imam Ali learns to rely on Allah and seek His help at all times. When he feels that Allah is punishing him, he has not the slightest doubt to immediately turn back to Allah in asking for help.

    Imam Ali Zainul-'Abedeen said:

" This is me, dear Allah seeking shelter in Your mercy. I've so often avoided You but to You only, have I returned. "

    10 Most Wanted!

    10 Most Wanted!

A great and successful commander always knows his enemies weakness and strength before he engaged in a battle with them.

Now as a Muslim to be able to know and identify our enemies will be of an advantage to us to better fight and overcome them.

This is a challenging mission and lets us track our 10 most wanted enemies. Here is the list:

    1. Enemy Number One - Shaitan (Lanatullah alihi):

In al-Qur'an, Allah (swt) has mentioned numerous times that shaitan is our true and real enemy. Even our fore-father Nabi Adam a.s. was not spared by shaitan's wicked and cunning ways.

Please bear in mind that shaitan is working round the clock, all year round irregardless of seasons, day or night and is most experienced having lived for decades. All Muslims must fight this enemy and be wary of its dubious ploy.

Shaitan is with each and every one of us..it is up to us to destroy its influence by being loyal and obedient only to Allah (swt).....Only Allah (swt) is our saviour!

But we must learn to recognise the shaitan just listen to his whispering in your heart for that is the place he loves to reside because he knows that man is constantly trying to seek his lord with the eyes which do not perceive him for he is perfect and these eyes are a mere gift for our own benefit.

It is the Heart which sees Allah and recognises his love and majesty we must purify our hearts and rid shaitan who by staying in the heart as if though the idols are in the mosque.

    2. Enemy Number Two - Our Nafs (inner self):

This is a real tough "guy"...it is difficult to break this nafs as it dwells within us.. When we eat they eat, when we drink they drink but when we are resting they are plotting to destroy us.

Those who succumbs to his own nafs is in a great lost and is most unfortunate. In al-Qur'an, Allah (swt) condemns those who follow his/her nafs without any reservation or thought. Our beloved Rasulullah (s.a.w).recommended fasting as one of the ways to curb our nafs.

The Nafs is what was bestowed by Allah and is therfor the most important thing we have Allah says in the Quran Every Nafs shall taste death and we have also read in Quran and numerous Hadeeth that it is the nafs which will go to heaven and we know much about the spirituality of the Prophets and the great Awliya and the Vallyallahs.

These people stopped and worked on their Nafs which is no easy task by any estimation but non the less the Prophet and the imams have prescribed many remedies for the Diseases of the Nafs its just a matter of man becoming awoken from his Ignorance and realizing he can cure his many problems.

Stress, worry, sadness, lonliness, aimlesness, selfpity, depression, and the list goes on these are all problems of the Nafs but people dont realise the cause is sin and not being loyal to Allah hence the heavenly nafs is made to go against its Nature and therfore when something is abused or used in a manner not appropriate for it it just begins to decay or break or seize to function or go berzerk all of this pleases Shaitan, man enjoys it whilst it lasts but.??

    3. Enemy Number Three - Our Hearts:

The heart plays the all important role in our well being, be it physically and/or mentally. Our beloved Rasulullah s.a.w. mentioned that there is a piece of meat in our body - if it is good, all will be good but if it is otherwise the rest will suffer and follow suit to destruction.

Our heart (intention) is also vital to separate our amal. Is it for Allah (swt) or something else.

If what we do (our ibadah, etc) is only for Allah (swt) then that Muslim is most lucky and fortunate - remember what we vow in our Salat, "inna salati wanusuki wamayaya wa mamati lillahi rabbal'alamin". All beside Allah (swt) is immaterial.

There are three types of hearts mentioned in al-Qur'an:-

The heart is very sacred we have stored many idols in this heart of ours when in reality this was only the place to recognise and communicate with the beloved and feel the pangs of seperation from Allah but we have found many perverse and unfitting uses for it by god if people knew what this Celestial Jewel reallly was.

    a) The heart that is alive and well:- this belongs to the Muslims who are steadfast in their ibadah. and are aware of them selves and know exactly what the reaction of each of their actions is. and they recognise the Oneness of Allah and can see his Glory everywhere and pay total homage and allegience to rightly guided and forbid evil and enjoin good.

    b) The heart that is sick:- this belongs to the Muslims with a weak Iman..they admitted that Allah (swt) is the one and only but their actions are undesirable and against Allah (swt)'s rules and regulations. They fully Hypocrisy and pay full Allegience to the Devil even if they do not realise. their actions always contradict the laws and guidelines of Allah and use flattery and many other gestures to act as muslims but really they are in the wrong camp.

    c) The heart that is dead:- this belongs to the non-believers, they know (or sometime just could not be bothered) that Islam is the true religion but they totally rejected Islam.

Also many muslims have dead hearts liek we have said earlier on the diseases of the heart are many (this does not include physical illness cancer etc) these are te hidded mysteries of the Jewel which can be polished so much that you become one with harmony or you rebel so much that you never ever find that peace which you see in every face accepts yours.

    4. Enemy Number Four - This World (al-Dunya):

Rasulullah (s) regarded this "world" as an old lady which has limited time and is most horrible.

By comparing this world with an old lady Rasulullah (s.a.w). expected us to "shun" from it and be mindful of what this "dunya" has to offer.

Do we want a life of "pleasure" in this temporary and deceitful abode or do we rather forgo this "old lady" and wait for a better lady in waiting at jannah.

Rasulullah (s.a.w). mentioned that there will be a time when this ummah (us) will love this world too great to the extend that we are afraid of dying, na'uzubillah.

We must take what is necessary to sustain our life in order to facilitate our ibadah to Allah (swt) (zuhud al-dunya) and please remember Allah (swt) can take us back anytime, anywhere without a moment notice!

The Prophet has (s) said the world is a corpse and the humans are Dogs eating of it.

Imam Ali has said this world is a forsaken place its promise is fake and its glamour and glitter is just a temporary thing it deceives and corrupts it is a muddy drinking hole.

The true beliver said the Prophet (s) to Abu Dharr is he who in this world feels trapped as if a bird is in acage or a person in a prison the true beliver]wants to be freed from this world and reach the beloved in the next realm.

    5. Enemy Number Five - Fellow Humans:

Now this enemy falls into two categories:- the believers and non-believers.

The believers are our own brothers and sisters in Islam but unfortunately sometimes the enemy within us is much more dangerous and their "foul play" is much more devastating.

Rasulullah (s.a.w). mentioned that good and true friends are like those selling perfumes, if we mixed with them the fragrance will linger thus (effecting) making us smelling good too.

However, bad or nasty friends are compared to a blacksmith..we will feel the hotness (heat) and the sparks (fire) if we stand near to them...

Now the choice is yours..it is up to us to choose our friends:- to smell nice or be scalded or burnt?

Sometimes, we are betrayed and sabotaged by our own Muslim brothers and there are many a time when our jealousy and pride get the better of us and into the way of the success of our Muslims brothers.

We feel threatened and envious of their success and happiness and decide once for all to destroy him.

Now who is the winner in this game?

The non-believers on other hand will always hate Islam, be it because of their ignorance or just blindly motivated by nafs (unless they are given "tawfiq and hidayah" from Allah) they will only be happy if we follow their ways and lifestyles.

    6. Enemy Number Six - Your Family:

Our family will be our enemy without we realising it.

This is very evident especially if we are the head of the family and responsible for our members of family.

We must heed Allah (swt)'s advice to protect ourselves and our family against the fire (hell).

This call from Allah (swt) is often ignored by us...sometime to wake our children for Salat fajr we are reluctant we reasoned that they need the rest (sleep) and have to go to school.

We are more worried if they will be successful in this world ...but do we ever think about their afterlife?

If you really love your family please do them and yourselves this favour to observe Allah (swt) commands and prohibitions, insha'allah.

The family also makes many demands which can at times be unlawful man spends his whole time pleasing his family but they are never satisfied with him unless they are beleiving and god fearing people.

If that much effort was put into trying to secure the Bounties of the next world than we would all be successful.

    7. Enemy Number Seven - Your 'Ibadah:

You might be wondering how can your "ibadah" be your enemy.

This is true when your ibadah is not done properly according to its rules.

Allah (swt) will throw back your Salat "IN YOUR FACE!" (no..not ESPN style) if you do it hastily without ever considering why you Salat in the first place or without understanding what you are doing or if it is done with the wrong intention.

Our ibadah is for Proximity to Allah (swt)..if after this while, you see no improvement in yourselves in terms of your character, behaviour etc..there is a high chance that you are not really concentrating on your ibadah.

It is true who are we (human) to judge one's ibadah:- is it acceptable or not by Allah (swt)?

However please bear in mind Allah (swt) has set certain guidelines for us to gauge on how best we have performed in our ibadah..we will not see our fellow sisters who observe the Salat not putting on the "hijab" and we will not hear of any power struggle especially in mosques?

    8. Enemy Number Eight - Time:

Time is actually not your enemy if you spend it wisely and only to seek Allah (swt)'s blessing. In this world time is of an essence..each second goes without you noticing that you are actually wasting time.

Now ask this yourselves "What have I done or achieved in this world that will guarantee or defend me in life hereafter"..

Most of the time, we complained and lamented that we do not have enough time on our hands..just stop grumbling and start now..insya'allah if you are sincere and work hard towards seeing an improvement Allah (swt) will help you..

Don't blame "time" as your defence..time is also Allah (swt)'s creation and servant.. so work with this limited time to gain full-time happiness in heaven.

Time is on nobodies side that is why Allah swears by Time and says surely man is in loss.

But do we ever take Heed and look at our time which has passed and do we deeply sit and think about our age and how quickly we have become twenty or thirty or fourty and so on how much do we have left.

If time continues at the pace it has done that means in no Time we will all be dead so your buggered but buggered for ever not just a timely punishment like on earth but ETERNAL fire and or BLISS deppending on how you spent your time.

    9. Enemy Number Nine - Ignorant:

In fact, ignorance is one of the greatest enemy.

One will be totally lost without proper knowledge especially about Islam.

Knowledge is power:- the power to differentiate what is right and wrong.

A Muslim who is hardworking in ibadah without the knowledge on what or how an ibadah is to be performed, that ibadah will be rendered null and void.

What do you gain from this type of ibadah nothing but tiredness! Rasulullah (s.a.w). encouraged Muslims to seek knowledge from cradle (birth) to the grave (death).

Only knowledge will make us a better Muslim and again ignorance will get us nowhere be it in this world much more later in life hereafter.

To be Ignorant of the fact that you are ignorant is the worst kind of ignorance because majority of Muslims suffer from this very type of ignorance people generally think that they are o.k. and will be saved.

Some how but unless you fully understand each tenet of Islam and follow it because your intellect demands it because all your searching for truth have been fully satisfied and you have realized the oneness of Allah and are Intoxicated by his Majesty and Beauty which is prevelent everywhere unless this happens you are still one of the Ignorant.

    10. Enemy Number Ten - You (Yourself):

    "Yes, You!

    Do not turn around!"

We always blame others but do we really take a look at the man in the mirror and put the blame on him.

Yes, the above mentioned enemies are true and we must make an effort to avoid (get rid of) them....

But if we keep blaming them and we, ourselves do not make the effort to change or improve in that case what is the use of knowing all your enemies and we still keep "inviting" them to us?

We must force ourselves to fight these and the first change we have to make is within ourselves....(not just a change of clothes?) but totally from inside-out, when we succeed in this the rest will be easy and nothing...

Shaitan lanatullah will "wash its hands" on judgement day..we will not be able to turn around or look up and blame them, we will be responsible for our own acts!.

The devil cannot make you do anything thats what people say and unfortunetly most people are still in this thinking that shaitan has horns and fire coming out from his nose.

This is not the case we all can become Shaitans in an instance because he is the one who" Excites VAIN desire within us"

But we then follow out his command which comes in the form of our own personal wish this is how badly we follow him that when ever he wants to lead us Astray his wish is our desire and we always feel as i did this i did that yes its true we commited the action so there for we will suffer in the Grave and on the Promised day whilst Shaitan will be laughing at our faces and saying i only created blocks for you and you fell into them.

Dear brothers and sisters, there is a saying - know your enemy and you will know yourselves.

To know yourself is to know your Lord this saying is so true ask those people who sin to tell you who makes them sin.

They will either say themselves or they will blame society and culture etc.

But that is because they are slaves to their own Nafs which is being controlled by shaitan how many people actually reflect on this issue.

Very few thats why Muslim women today see everything as here and now and wish to enjoy their beauty and forsake the Hijab.

Because they dont realize reality and think there is enough time in old age to make up for lost time.

But it really does not work like this because firstly death can approach at any time.

Secondly if we spent fifty years sinning our nafs and way of thinking will be so polluted and fully under shaitans rule it will be much much harder to come to the straight path.

We now know our most deadly enemies now it is up to us to face the challenge and fight them.

This task will be easy for some and difficult for others but as long as we make the effort, Allah (swt) will definitely guide us.

I hope and pray for all Muslims to be able to face this 10 MOST WANTED and come out, triumphant. Amin.

    The Believer is Allah’s Building on Earth;
So What is the Penalty of the One Who Dismantles it?

The obligation the believer has towards another is drawn from a universal and

deep view of existence. As long as man relates himself to the Lord, he will be a

‘divine’ being who enjoys the bestowed divine state of inviolability. Acting

unjustly towards the man who holds this state however is surely considered acting

unjustly towards the one who granted it

By ‘the believer’, we do not mean someone who has attained the highest rank in

faith; rather, we mean the one with an acceptable degree of commitment to

the sharia and who is determined on following the religion even if he relinquishes

his commitment in one of the stages. If the word ‘believer’ mentioned in the Koran

and the Tradition is taken as meaning members of that elite group of believers,

    none would qualify.

Not having this divine view, as a result of the constant association with the

believer, helps in violating his rights because constant association plays down the

missive side of a person. Thus, we mistreat the believer forgetting his association

to Allah who does not consent to the weakening of his servant. This is why Allah

hurries to his defence especially if he was defenceless.

The obligation of the believer to other believers has many dimensions; the

material dimension is one of them. The issue of relieving each other’s financial

distresses is one of the greatest means of endearment to Allah. And as you

notice in the Koran, meditation-which is an individual form of worship-is

linked to almsgiving-which is a social form of worship. The consequence of

separating these two kinds of worship is the incomplete benefit from each.

Another obligation is taking care of the spiritual dimension. We all know that

psychological disturbances are among the most important problems that stand in

the way of achieving progress in working for this world and the hereafter.

Therefore, comforting the believer-even with half a word-could save him from a

    destructive abyss.

Because comforting the believer is bound by the laws of spirituality, the one who

embarks upon it must work hard to achieve professionalism in this field.

Nowadays, there are different schools of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

These help give an academic dimension to the process of natural thinking, even

though they are not totally right.

Both the sharia and the mind do not object to taking the initiative in looking for

other people’s worries instead of waiting for them to ask for help, for he who starts

people with kindness is better than the one who answers their requests.A man

must hurry to evaluate his fellow believer’s problems-especially if he was a

relative-to prevent him from falling into sin, once he sees a sign of abnormal

    conduct.

Because not all men are logical and rational, one must be extremely careful

when dealing with people who are sensitive and emotional especially regarding

relations with women. The wise man should recognize the individual differences in

    everyone when dealing with him.

Another obligation believers have towards each other is protecting each other’s

social grace. Allah has forbidden defaming-even if it was based on facts-as man

experiences different states and may make mistakes in any of the stages.

Therefore, if one discloses his fellow man’s faults, he would disgrace him, which

would prevent him from reversing his mistakes when social disgrace

    becomes a reality.

Spreading other people’s scandalous acts-especially of those who are not

expected to be involved-could make some people lose their faith in other

believers, which will in turn negatively affect their commitment to their faith! The

solution in this case is to help these people get out of the state they are in

so that their deviation is not used as an excuse for others to deviate.

The sayings made by the infallible Imams (P.U.T) strongly emphasise the

seriousness of discrediting the believer in people’s eyes. What a painful

chastisement it is that Imam al-Sadiq (P.U.H) threatens of saying, “ Allah ousts

him from His guardianship to Satan’s guardianship, and then Satan will not

accept him”. How miserable is someone whom even Satan does not accept as a

    follower!

The Effects of Losing The Divine Light

The image “http://www.masjid-alrasool.org/design/corporate/images/bismillah2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

The Effects of Losing The Divine Light

In his daily life, the believer desperately needs a light to clarify the way for him especially if it is ramified. It is clear that the source of light is the Creator who is the Light of heavens and earth; the verse says, [Indeed the man from whom Allah withholds His light shall find no light at all]

Among the effects of losing this light is having the concepts mixed up and failing to see the distinction between them. This will naturally lead to the state the

following verse describes, [Say: ‘ Shall we tell you who will be the greatest losers in their works? Those whose striving goes astray in the present life while they

think they are working good deeds]. So, it is useless to admonish such a person because he already thinks he is right

Other close concepts, which can lead the negligent into making mistakes, are ‘the bearing of disgrace ‘ and ‘forgiving’. Some might perceive forgiving others as

accepting disgrace, thus making it easy for Satan to lure them into taking vengeance. In fact forgiveness is a state of rising above the sinful souls; so how

could that be disgraceful! Rather it is a feeling of honour, highness and turning away from falsehood.

Other close concepts are the ‘trusting in God’ and ‘passivity’. Some people neglect pursing their goals supposing that trusting in God means abandoning going by the natural causes. Instead, they ask Allah to replace them in doing their duties; this is passivity in itself. Trusting in God is similar to sowing the seeds in the good land and asking Allah for rain. So, he who has no seeds to sow could not be considered to be a farmer!

Other close concepts are ‘mysticism’ and ‘training of the soul’. We do not deny the existence throughout history of a corrupt faction by the name of Sufis (Arabic Mystics). Those assumed a way of training the soul inconsistent with the teachings of the Koran and the Tradition of the Prophet and his Household

(PBUT). This resulted in the practice of strange rituals and beliefs. The truth is that training the soul is the product of the Prophet’s massage and mission. Did he not state that, “I was sent o perfect the noble manners”!

Other close concepts are ‘firmness’ and ‘harshness’. Some people like to assume firmness especially in the family environment by resorting to applying severe

measures of treatment thinking that they are being firm! Whereas the Koran warned us against using this kind of treatment. So, addressing the Prophet it says,

[Had you been harsh and hard- hearted they would have surely deserted you].

Other close concepts are ‘saying the words’ and ‘actually meaning them’.

For example when one is asked to ‘take refuge in Allah from Satan’, he would merely pronounce the known charm. Taking refuge in fact is a mental process involving: Seeking refuge in Allah’s Fort, knocking on its gate, running away from what one really fears, and being certain of the ability of the Fort’s Lord to protect. Now, how different is that from the mere verbal ‘taking refuge’! It is known that the ultimate effect of saying the words is conditional on the mental process and not on the repetition of the words.

Other close concepts are ‘being wary’ and ‘being worried’. We are commanded to be wary of emergency future situations by preparing for them in advance, on

the personal and family levels. But some people tend to experience worry and psychological distress which make them think that future is always gloomy

forgetting in the process that Allah is the best defender of His friend whenever and wherever he might be.

Shias in the Light of Quran & Hadith

The concept of Sharia was first propagated by Hadhrath Nuh (as). The followers of Hadhrath Nuh (as) path were referred to as Shi’a. This is clear from the fact that we read when referring to Hadhrath Ibrahim (as) Allah (swt) says that he was following the religion of Hadhrath Nuh (as).

We read in Surah As-Saffat (Ch:37) Verse 83:

“Verily Ibrahim was a Shi’a of Nuh”.

The Prophet (s) was likewise from the people of Ibrahim that is because Allah (swt) says in Surah al Baqarah verse 134:

“They say: "Become Jews or Christians and you would be guided (To salvation)." Say No (I would rather) follow the Religion of Abraham”

Surah Al-Qasas - Verse 15 again uses the word Shia for Prophet Musa (AS) followers.
Surah Al-Qasas - Verse 15 again uses the word Shia for Prophet Musa (AS) followers.

This therefore means that Hadhrath Muhammad (s) was a Shi’a of Hadhrath Ibrahim (as) - who was a Shi’a of Hadhrath Nuh (as). The term Shi’a, should therefore not be viewed with hostility rather previous Prophets and their adherents were Shi’a.

“And he entered the City at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his Shi’a, and the other, of his enemies”. (Qur'an 28:15).

Please note that the followers of Muaweyah (L) and Yazeed (L), the Sipah e Sahaba and other Wahabi groups refer to Shias as Kaafirs (infidels)!
    Shia News Team
In this verse, Hadhrath Musa (as)’s party are referred to as Shi’a because Hadhrath Musa (as) was Shi’a. His followers were Shi’a as declared by the Holy Qur’an. This fact is acknowledged by the scholars of Ahl’ul Sunnah.

In Tafsir Bidhawi Volume 4 page 125 (Egypt edition)
“One was his Shi’a in others one that followed his path”.

Allamah Farah Baghawi in his “Mu’allim ul Tanzil” Volume 3 page 175 (India, Bombay edition) writes:

“The fighter was a Shi’a - a momin, his enemy was a Kaffir”.

Shi’a in light of hadith of the Prophet(s)
Hadhrath Ali (as) and his Shi’a are the best of creations

It is in praise of the Shi’a of Ali that Allah (swt) sent down the following revelation:

“Those who believe and do righteous deeds are the best of the creatures. Their reward from their Lord shall be everlasting gardens, below which flow rivers, they will abide there forever. Well pleased is God with them and they are well pleased with Him” (Qur'an 98:7)”.

    Ya Rasool Allah
    Ya Rasool Allah
Muhammad bin Ali narrates in Tafsir ibne Jarir, Volume 33 page 146 (Cairo edition) that the Prophet (s) said “The best of creations are you Ali and your Shi’as.

Jalaladin Suyuti, (849 - 911 AH) is one of the highest ranked Sunni scholars of all time. In his commentary of this verse, he records through 3 asnad (chains) of narrators, that the Prophet (s) told his companions that the verse referred to Ali and his Shi’a:

“I swear by the one who controls my life that this man (Ali) and his Shi’a shall secure deliverance on the day of ressurection”.
TDM Volume 6 page 379 (Cairo edition)

The 3 Sahaba who narrated this hadith are (1) Ali (as) himself (2) Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (ra) (3) Abdullah ibne Abbas (ra). They are acknowledged by the majority school as truthful narrators of hadith. Had this been in a Shi’a book, our opponents would have deemed it a forgery, but it’s presence in their own books has perplexed the minds of many of their scholars.

There are no hadith in which the Prophet (s) guaranteed paradise for a specific Sahaba and his followers, with the sole exception of Ali (as) and his Shi’a. Other Sunni scholars have also recorded this hadith from Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari in their commentaries of the above verse.
Tafsir Fatha ul bayan Volume 10 page 333 (Egypt edition) &
Tafsir Fatha ul Qadir, Volume 5 page 477

Hadhrath Abdullah ibne Abbas narrates “that when this verse descended the Prophet (s) Ali you and your Shi’a will be joyful on the Day of Judgement” (ibid Suyuti).

Ahmad ibn Hajr al Makki quotes from Imam Dar Qatany in his al Sawaiqh al Muhriqa page 159 (Cairo edition) “O Abul Hasan you and your Shi’a will attain paradise”.

The Shi’a will enter Heaven with the Prophet (s), Hadhrath Ali (as) and the pure Imams
Ibn Hajr records this tradition from Imam Tabarani:
“O Ali four people will enter heaven first of all. You Hasan Hussain your descendents and me will follow us and our wives will follow our descendents and our Shi’a will be to the left and right of us”.

The Prophet (s) promised to meet Ali (as) and his Shi’a at the fountain of Kawthur

Hadhrath Ali narrates in Tafsir Durre Mansur, Volume 6 page 379 (Cairo edition)
“Have you not heard this verse “Their reward from their Lord shall be everlasting gardens, below which flow rivers, they will abide there forever”? This verse refers to you and you Shi’a, I promise you that I will be meet you at the Fountain of Kawthur”.

Seventy thousand Shi’as will enter Heaven without any questioning

Whilst salvation will be for the Shi’a of course deeds will differ amongst the followers. It is indeed part of the articles of faith of the Ahl’ul Sunnah that:

“Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had once observed that as many as seventy thousand of his followers will be allowed entry in to paradise without any questioning”.
Islam: The Basic Articles of Faith - According to the Beliefs of the Ahl al Sunna wa al Jama’a - a Modern English translation of Bahar-e-Shariat Part One (Unamed author) page 67 (First edition, Crescent Publishing, Rochdale 1998)

The question that one should ask is ‘Did the Prophet (s) expand any further on who this blessed group would be?’ The answer is recorded by the Shafii scholar al Maghazli who records a tradition from Anas bin Malik, that he heard the Prophet (s) say:

“Seventy thousand people will go to heaven without questions, the Prophet then turned to Ali and said ‘they will be from among your Shi’a and you will be their Imam”

    Sunni Reference:
Manaqib Ali al Murtaza, page 184 by al Maghazli al Shafii

What should also be noted is the fact that whilst some verses in the Qur’an are concerned with a specific episode / incident there are some that have a general applicability for all times. Clearly this verse, helps Man to identify the fact that that group “who believe and do righteous deeds are the best of the creatures”.

The verse is a guarantee that at all times, in every era these type of individuals shall exist. If the Prophet (s)’s commentary of that verse is that it is Hadhrath Ali (as) and his Shi’a that are being referred here, then that means that the Shi’a compliment this verse.

This means that that in the same way that this verse will exist until the end of the world, Ali (as)’s Shi’a will likewise exist to provide a practical commentary to it. The fact that the Prophet (s) had made reference to Ali and his Shi’a during his lifetime proves that the Shi’a existed then.

Furthermore, the very fact that this verse has never been abrogated means that from then until the Day of Judgment, if one is seeking to identify the best of creations s/he will need to turn to Ali (as) and his Shi’a. There exist no traditions in which the Prophet (s) guaranteed paradise for a specific companion and his followers, with the sole exception of Ali (as) and his Shi’a.

If the term Ahl' al Sunna wa'al Jammah existed in a definitive form from the moment of the death of the Holy Prophet, undoubtedly some Hadith fabricators would have put this name in and substituted it for the name Shi’a. But since this term did not exist till the reign of Al Mansur, a whole century after the death of the Holy Prophet, no such Hadith exists. So what was the title given to the early companions?….

The companions, the Muhajireen and Ansar were Shi’a

The highly respected Sunni scholar Al Muhaddith Shah Abdul Aziz Dehlavi in his discussion of hadith relating to Ali and his Shi’a writes:

“The title Shi’a was first given to those Muhajireen and Ansar who gave Bayah to Ali (may Allah enlighten his face), they were his steadfast faithful followers during his (Ali’s) khilafat, they remained close to him, and they always fought his enemies, and kept on following Ali’s commands and prohibitions the true Shi’a are these who came in 37 Hijri”
Taufa Ithna Ashari, (Gift to the Twelvers) (Farsi edition p 18, publishers Sohail Academy, Lahore, Pakistan).

(NB: 37 Hijri -the year Hadhrath Ali (as) fought Mu’awiyah at Siffeen).

    The Ahl al-Bayt

Contributions; The Ahl al-Bayt (by Sr. Sayeeda Abid Ali

The Ahlal Bait are the Godly ones of the Family of the Holy Prophet whom the Muslim World as a whole unanimously acknowledges as the Pure Personalities and hold them as INFALLIBLE Holy ones PURIFIED By God Himself.

The Almighty Allah has bestowed His trust on Ale Muhammad (The descendants of Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Them), who are the Strongholds of His Commandments. From where they are expounded and interpreted. They are The Fountain Heads of Knowledge Created by Him, Shelters for His Teachings, Forts for Heavenly Books, And lofty Citadels to defend His Religion. Islam needed help and support, By them Allah made Islam strong and powerful.

"And We assigned from among them some Imams(Leaders) who guide by Our Authority since they were patient and believed firmly in Our Signs. (Qur'an 32:24)

And, He it is who made the stars for you that ye maybe rightly guided by observing them in the darkness of the land and the sea; Indeed we have made plain the Signs for the people who can know. (Qur'an 6:97).

    The Holy Prophet said:

" As the stars in the sky are the Source of guidance to the travellers, The Holy Ones of my Ahlal Bait ( The Twelve Imams) are The Source of Guidance for the people. And, as the stars will remain in the sky until The Day of Judgment, The earth will never be without a Divinely Guide from My Ahlal Bait, That is an Imam".

And say those who disbelieve: "why hath not a sign been sent down unto him(Muhammad); Verily thou art a warner and for every people there is a guide (13:7)

    Firmly Ground in Knowledge:

"He (God) is He Who Has revealed The Book (Quran) to you. Some of its verses are decisive; they are the Essence of The Book and the others are ambiguous; so as for those in whose hearts there is perversity, they follow the part of it which is ambiguous, seeking to mislead (people) and seeking to give it ( their own) interpretation. But NONE knows its interpretation , Save God and those who are firmly established in Knowledge".(Qur'an 3:7).

"Nay These are The Verses of The Qur'an in the Breast of those who are gifted with Knowledge. (Qur'an: 29:49).

    The Blessed Ones:

Guide us in the straight path: The path of those whom Thou hast blessed. (1:6&7).

They are those whom Allah has blessed among the Prophets and the truthfuls, and the martyrs and the righteous. (4:69)

These are The Ones on The Guidance from their Lord and these are The Ones shall be The successful ones. (Qur'an: 2:5).

    The Purified Ones:

Verily It is Qur'an honourable, In a Book hidden, Toucheth It not save the purified ones

. Sent down by The Lord of the Worlds. (56:77 to 80).

The Highest degree of purity means to be kept constantly away from all the causes of impurity. This is termed as the State of Infallibility in Knowledge, character and action. It could have been applied generally to the whole mankind who are keeping aloof from all the impurities as The Word of God Commands; But, God expressively Has confined His Order to certain Group of Individuals by excluding the rest of the mankind from it in His Divine Will by declaring the 'Ahlal Bait' as the persons purified by Him to be constantly in touch with the Qur'an in its original, hidden, well protected, exalted and purified form. It was Allah's Wish to remove all Blemish from them:

Verily, verily God intendeth to keep off from you (every kind of filth), "O' ye The People of The House (Ahlul Bait), and purify you with a thorough purification. (Qur'an: 33:33).

    Commandment to love Ahlal Bait

In this Last Word of God (Qur'an), The Holy Prophet is being Commanded to ask the believers to love his kith and kin (that is his Ahlal Bait) and that would be the return of his apostleship.

That is of which God Give the glad tidings unto His servants who believe and do good deeds; Say thou ('O' Apostle Muhammad!) "I demand not of you any recompense for it (the toils of apostleship) save THE LOVE OF (MY) RELATIVES ... (42:23).

    Ordinance of God :

And after returning from City of Mecca after his last or the parting Pilgrimage (Hajjatul Vida) at a place called Ghadeer e Khum this verse was revealed to The Holy Prophet Muhammad, which occupies a very important and a leading position in The Holy Qur'an and forms a very vital part of The Word of God:

"O Apostle! deliver what has been Revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His Message, and Allah will protect you from the people, surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people" (5:67)

Acknowledgement of Ali as the Successor:

History reports how the Holy Prophet stopped the caravan, delivered a long sermon, before a mammoth assemble of thousands of the pilgrims and he was standing there to convey the Message to the Muslims and to perform the duty he was ordered to perform. Continuing the sermon, he said:

"O people! Shortly I shall be called (to the Heaven),I am leaving amidst you, two most precious things, worthy of obedience, THE BOOK of ALLAH (THE HOLY QUR'AN), and 'MY AHLAL BAIT' (The members of his family, Ali and Fatima and their Godly issues), Should ye be attached to these Two, Never shall ye get astray after me, for Verily these TWO will not separate from each other until they meet me at the Fountain of Kausar (Paradise)."And then he called Ali Ibne Abi Taleb and raising him with the miraculous strength of his apostolic arms declared:

'Man kunto Maulaho fa haaza Ali-yun Maulahu' that is:

Whomsoever I am The Maula,(Lord, Master), This ALI is his Maula.

And declared him as The Ameer ul Momeyneen(Commander of the faithful).

Then the Prophet said "Go now, and let those who have been present here today repeat and convey to those who are absent all that they have seen and heard."

    Approval of The Religion:

And immediately after this historic event, the Divine inspiration again descended revealing:

"This day I perfected for you, your religion, and have completed my favor on you and chosen for you ISLAM (to be ) the Religion", ... (5:3).

    Commandment To Believe:

Mankind! Verily The Apostle Mohammed hath come unto you with TRUTH from your Lord. Believe then unto him, it is good for you and if you disbelieve then God is whatever is in the Heavens and the Earth and God is All Knowing, All Wise. (4:170).

And We made them Imams (Leaders) by OUR Command and We revealed to them the doing of Good and the keeping up of Prayers and giving of the alms. (And Us)(Alone) did they serve (21:73)

God is He who sent down The Book with Truth and The Balance. What shall make you know , haply the hour (of Reckoning) be nigh (42:17)

"The Two inseparable Associates each one of whom stands as a witness to the truth of the other."

Since the Ahlal Bait carry as much weight in the eyes of Allah as The Holy Quran, the former has the same qualities as the latter. Just as the Qur'an is true from beginning to end without the shadow of untruth in it, and just as it is incumbent(duty) of every Muslim to obey its commands, so also must the Ahlal Bait be perfectly true and sincere guides whose commands must be followed by all. Therefore there can be no escape of accepting their leadership and following their creed and faith. The Muslims are bound by the sayings of prophet to follow them and no one else.

Those who have faith in god and do righteous deeds they are the best of creatures (khairul barriya). (98:7)

These are none but our Infallible Imams.

Peace And The Mercy Of God Be Upon Muhammad And His Descendants.
    Lord Who distinguished Muhammad and His descendants with Excellence;
    Entrusted them with Thy mission;
    And favored them with Thy privilege (of intercession);
    Who made them The Heirs to The Prophets;
    Who sealed upon them the succession and Guardianship of the Religion;
    Who taught them The knowledge of all what was and all that remains;
Who made the hearts for mankind yearn for them.
Lord, Bless Muhammad and his descendants, The Pure Ones, and Do unto us what Thou art Worthy of doing in this world, and the hereafter. Verily Thou Has Power over all things.

Every now and then the solitary moments hold my hands,
and take me into seen yet unseen lands.
My thoughts float over the valleys and mountains that soar high,
the sky hugging structures, busy streets, the people and I.

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

Every drop of water that moistens my lips,
gushing rivers and oceans with floating boats and ships.
Every crumb of bread that I eat,
Trees laden with fruits, the golden fields of wheat,

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

Each leaf that moves, to blow the soft breeze,
the white blanket of snow that brings the freeze,
Each ray of sun that bathes the world in gold,
the seasons that change but never get old.

    I look around and think,
every thing threaded so delicately in a single link.

The heart where I treasure my joys and fears
The eyes that share my smiles and tears,

All the things that make my life,

Praying Fajr reflects how much you love Allah the Almighty

The happiness of that guy was tremendous when a well-known company accepted him to work for it. He was over the moon as he was the only accepted candidate.

He signed the contract that implies that he should agree on respecting the company working hours, delivering weekly reports about his work and activities, and accepting to be punished for any delinquency
    ..... read more

Soon later, the guy met his manager and said to him, "From tomorrow onwards, I will not come in time. And I will not deliver my weekly reports in time either; instead they will be delayed for a while. In spite of all that, I will not allow you to punish me, and you don't have the right to kick me out from work."

If we imagine such a situation, we will laugh at the behaviour of that guy. No-one will see him but an insane and a fool person. How come can someone want to take his rights whereas he is not committed to his own obligations?!

So, why most of us do the same strange action or even worse?
(As we commit a worse sin against the Law of Allah the Almighty.) How can a sane person allow himself to enjoy all Allah's graces: such as food, drink, clothes and life pleasures; whereas he doesn't offer Allah the simplest obligatory He obligates him to do, viz. Praying?!
And even if he prays, then he doesn't pray in time or he prays like a rooster (i.e. he prays too hastily and carelessly). He neither complies with his praying nor apprehends what he says.

According to our web site visitors survey in the arabic section of IslamWay.com that included more than 4000 persons:
14% of them never pray Fajr in its time
16% of them rarely pray Fajr in its time
33% of them often pray Fajr in its time
35% of them always pray Fajr in its time

Subhan Allah!! (*) We are not talking about jurisprudence about which scholars disagreed or even a Sunnah that one has a choice to do or not. We are talking about ABC Islam. We are talking about praying that Allah Almighty obligates on all Muslims - whatever their conditions are.

When Allah the Almighty ordered Muslims to pray He warned those who delay the prayer after its designated time, saying:

"So woe to the worshippers Who are neglectful Of their prayers" [Surat Al-ma'oon 107:4-5]

The interpreters said that what is meant by this verse is delaying prayer after its designated time. They also said : "woe" is a very deep sheer black valley in Hell. Don't we believe in Allah's Words?

A lot of Muslims nowadays neglect Fajr prayer as if they it was not there. That's why they pray it much later than its time. In addition, some of them pray it immediately before the Noon prayer. Others may never pray it even for compensation (Qaddaa). So why all this laziness against what Allah the Almighty deserves? Don't we proclaim that we love Allah the Almighty more than any thing else? Once one of us loves someone a true love, he will be willing to meet him. He may keep thinking of him most of the time. Once he has a date with him, he canNOT sleep until he meets the one he loves. So, do those lazy prayers who do not pray Fajr prayer really love Allah? Do they really respect His Orders? Are they willing to meet Him?.

Let's imagine that a multi-millionaire offered one of his employees $1000 every day, just on one condition, viz. the employee must call daily at his employer's house in the morning as to wake him up then leave. Such a simple task may take the employee 10 minutes only. This marvellously generous offer will be valid as long as the employee keeps awaking his employer regularly. On the other hand, this offer will be cancelled permanently, and the employee will be asked to return all the money he received, if he neglects to awake his employer once without an excuse.

So, if you, my Muslim brother, were that employee , will you neglect to call at your employer's house? Won't you carefully intend to wake up daily to get the one thousand dollar? Won't you - once you failed one morning - try with all means to prove that you were truly unable to wake up?.

Allah has the higher example, so what about you my dear brother towards your Lord, Allah the Almighty? He is the ONLY ONE who gives you your means of living and who bestowed you with every thing, whose blessings on you are utterly much more than millions of dollars daily. It is Him Who says:
"...if you try to count the blessings of Allah , you will fail...." [Surat Ibrahim: 14 : 34]

Doesn't this Lord, the The Most Merciful, the Most Generous deserve that you wake up for Him every morning at about 5.30 a.m. so as to thank Him just in 5 or 10 minutes for His great blessings and his generous favours?

The judgement against those who neglect praying Fajr Prayer in time:
    Allah the Almighty says:
"...for such prayers are enjoined on Believers at stated times." [Surat Annesaa: 4 : 103]
    • Islam is a comprehensive way of life… It is like an agreement between The Great Lord and His humble servant. According to this agreement, the servant commits to certain obligations before Allah. With respect to these obligations, Allah would grant the servant rights and privileges. It is insensible that you agree to this contract, then, soon afterwards, you do whatever you like and neglect whatever you do not like. Allah Almighty says in the Quran:
" O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil One; for he is to you an avowed enemy." [Surat Al-baqara: 2 : 208]
The interpreters said: this means to accept Islam with all its legislation and rules. Allah got exasperated with the people of Israel when they performed what they liked from His religion and neglected the rest. That's why He addresses them saying:
"…Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? But what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life? And on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do." [Surat Al-baqara: 2 : 85]
As far as one's punctuality on attending prayers is considered, The Prophet (peace be upon him) sees those who do not punctually attend Fajr (dawn) and Ishaa (night) Salat in congregation as being sheer hypocrites "Munafeqeen". So what do you think of those who do not pray Fajr at all, neither in congregation nor alone (at home)?

    • The Prophet (pbuh) said: "There is no prayer more difficult to attend for hypocrites than Fajr and Ishaa. And if they knew what's in them (i.e. the good reward - thawab) they would attend them even if they had to come crawling." (Narrated by Bukhari)

    • Allah Almighty mentions that He disavows whosoever neglects the obligatory Salat. Besides, The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Do not ever leave Salat on purpose because whoever does so then he is disavowed by Allah and His Messenger." (Narrated by Imam Ahmad)
So do you like, Oh Muslim brother and sister, for the closest one to you to disavow you? So how do you neglect the Salat and cause Allah to be disavow you?

Well....now what have I to do?
    • Every one us should set an alarm clock to wake him for Fajr Salat daily.

    • We should give Salat its status in our lives, and we should discipline our jobs according to the Salat regular times. (Unfortunately, we simply do the opposite!)

    • We should sleep early and wake up for Fajr and then leave for work. Soon after Fajr, Allah distributes people's sustenance (Arzaq).

    • Each one of us should seek a good companionship that would call to wake him at Fajr Salat. Moreover, they would help one another to adhere to such a good deed.

    • We should keep on saying our nightly Duaa (that we say just after before going to sleep) asking Allah to help us do our Salat.

    • To feel guilty if we missed a single obligatory Salat. Furthermore, we should vow never to repeat this big sin.
May Allah make us all be among those who truly love Him. May He give us sincerity in both words and deeds. (Amen) Finally, whatever is right in this article then it is a gift from Allah. And whatever mistakes or shortcomings then they are due to myself or Shytan (Satan).

    ------------------------------------------
(*) Subhan Allah!!: This is an Islamic way of exclamation.

    Is there a Creator ?

    Is there a Creator ?

We will answer by quoting a number of aayaat (verses) from the Book of Allaah (the Qur’aan – the scripture of Islam), then you can think to yourself about the matter and if the truth becomes clear to you, you will have no choice but to follow it. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“We created you, then why do you believe not?
Then tell Me (about) the human semen that you emit.
Is it you who create it (i.e., make this semen into a perfect human being), or are We the Creator?
We have decreed death unto you all, and We are not unable,
To transfigure you and create you in (forms) that you know not.
And indeed, you have already known the first form of creation (i.e., the creation of Adam). Why then do you not remember or take heed?
Tell Me! The seed that you sow in the ground.
Is it you that make it grow, or are We the Grower?
Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry pieces, and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment),
(Saying), ‘We are indeed Mughramoon (i.e., ruined, or lost the money without any profit, or punished by the loss of all that we spent for cultivation, etc.)!
    ‘Nay, but we are deprived!’
Tell Me! The water that you drink,
Is it you who cause it from the rainclouds to come down, or are We the Causer of it to come down?
If We willed, We verily could make it salt (and undrinkable). Why then do you not give thanks (to Allaah)?
Tell Me! The fire which you kindle,
Is it you who made the tree thereof to grow, or are We the Grower?
We have made it a Reminder (for the Hell-fire, in the Hereafter); and an article of use for the travellers (and all others, in this world).
The glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.
So I swear by mawaaqi’ (setting to the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse),
And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but knew,
That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Qur’aan).” [Quran 56:57-77]

Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators?
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like?” [Quran 52:35-37]

“Verily, the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allaah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed aayaat (proofs, evidences, signs) for people of understanding.” [Quran 2:164]

“It is He Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and with it We bring forth vegetation of all kinds, and out of it We bring forth green stalks, from which We bring forth thick clustered grain. And out of the date-palm and its spathe come forth clusters of dates hanging low and near, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety and taste). Look at their fruits when they begin to bear, and the ripeness thereof. Verily! In these things there are signs for people who believe.” [Quran 6:99]

“And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), till when they have carried a heavy-laden cloud, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed.” [Quran 7:57]

“Is not He (better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any god with Allaah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!” [Quran 27:60]

“He has created the heavens and the earth without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.” [Quran 31:10]

And the two seas (kinds of water) are not alike, this fresh, sweet and pleasant to drink, and that saltish and bitter. And from them both you eat fresh tender meat (fish), and derive the ornaments that you wear. And you see the ships cleaving (the sea-water as they sail through it), that you may seek of His Bounty, and that you may give thanks.” [Quran 35:12]

And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.” [Quran 25:53]

This is a selection of clear aayaat that include the answer to your question. We invite you to join the community of the believers and to enter the religion of Islam which Allaah has chosen as the religion for all mankind. Peace be upon those who follow true Guidance.

The Quran from the perspective of a non-Muslim

The Quran from the perspective of a non-Muslim

Robin Peters is a 44 years old lady who read the Quran and then she liked to comment on what she've read .. so let's see what did she say ..

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The Koran is the Bible of Islam. Revealed to the world by Muhammad approximately 1,400 years ago, it is regarded by Muslims, universally, as the word of God to Muhammad and from him to all Islam. No devout Muslim disputes this; in this respect, there is more agreement among Muslims about the divine origin of the Koran (seen as having been literally dictated to Muhammad by the mouth of Allah Himself) than there is about the origins of the Bible among Christians.

Even those of us forced to rely on translations of the Koran (considered interpretations of same because only the Arabic Koran is the literal Word of God) can see the literary value of this work. There is tremendous spiritual and psychological value in reading this book, as well, for Muslim and non-Muslim alike.

For me, the psychological value of this book comes in its emphasis on right and wrong belief and standing up for what you believe in, even if it costs you dearly in terms of human relationships. Certainly, no one has accused Muslims of being wishy-washy about their faith! In fact, the differences in the various branches of Islam come from the ways in which they practice their faith. A Sunni Muslim will differ from a Shi'ite or Twelver Muslim in the way in which they practice their faith, but they will not disagree about the divine origin of the Koran or the fact that there are correct and incorrect beliefs. I think that Catholics and Protestants can learn an important lesson from Muslims in this regard; we have become so concerned with whether or not the Bible is inspired or dictated directly from the mouth of the Lord, or whether certain beliefs are correct or incorrect, or whether certain actions or practices are moral or immoral, that we are no longer truly Christian or loving of one another.

The Koran basically mandates certain behavior from the rank-and-file believer. In this respect, Islam is less a religion than a way of life and pattern of behavior with Allah (God) at its very center. By way of contrast, Christians leave Christianity at the door of church on Sunday, still practicing that civil religion so popular during the 1950s and so offensive to those of us who take the Bible and Christ seriously. Muslims are expected to pray five times daily; Christians who pray once daily are seen as "out of the loop" and are thus discouraged from contacting God regularly unless it's to be polite during a worship service. Muslims fast at least one month a year; Christians generally ignore the need to undergo cycles of feasting and fasting, unless they belong to a denomination which takes Lent seriously. Muslims consider charitable donations a tax of sorts, due and payable once a year during the feast of Eid, one of the five pillars of the faith without which one is not a Muslim; Christians generally donate to charity with such highhandedness and snobbery that they might as well not donate one penny.

I would strongly recommend that people of all religious persuasions read the Koran, if only to learn more about what Islam really is all about.

What do Muslims believe about Jesus?

What do Muslims believe about Jesus?

creation of Jesus as follows (interpretation of the meaning):

    "Behold! the Angel said,

`God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary, God gives you glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one that shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.'

She said: `O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: `Even so; God creates what He wills. When He decrees a thing, He but says to it, "Be!" and it is." [sus (peace be upon him) was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam (peace be upon him) into being without a father:

"Truly, the likeness of Jesus unto Allaah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, `Be!' and he was." [ Quran 3:59 ]iracles. The Qur’aan tells us that he said (interpretation of meaning):

"I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allaah’s leave. And I heal the blind and the lepers, and I raise the dead by Allaah’s leave." [Quran 3:49]

To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign form your Lord, so fear God and obey me." [Quran  3:50]
